Zelenskyy Inspects Defenders Close to Heavily Contested Pokrovsk Area
Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy made a trip to speak to national troops in the Donetsk region on Tuesday. Zelenskyy announced that he met with soldiers at the command post of the 1st Corps of the National Guard of Ukraine Azov, which is conducting a defensive operation in the Dobropillya area, an urban center approximately a short distance from Pokrovsk.
Volatile Conditions in Pokrovsk
Geospatial data from a local initiative revealed that Russian forces had made gains into Pokrovsk and nearby locations, though significant areas remained beyond firm control by any party. The situation remains critical, with reports indicating that Russian forces were digging in and building up positions in various sectors.
