Since the launch of Campaign 4, fresh DM Brennan Mulligan has kept fans guessing with rich lore, a colorful mix of characters, and a gripping narrative featuring divine entities, fiends, and sinister influences growing in influence within Dol-Makjar.

The Warrior Group Unveiled
The third episode finished on a major cliffhanger and presented the premier party of characters who will branch out from the central cast to undertake their own adventure, distinct from the remaining groups.
The combat-focused team includes the determined fighter (played by the voice actor), Thimble (Laura), the strong-willed figure (Whitney Moore), Wicander (Sam Riegel), and the mysterious adventurer (Robbie Daymond).
Why Split the Party?
Given a large ensemble, it was obvious from the beginning that having everyone at the same party would be unfeasible.
Hence, the initial installments of Campaign 4 serve as an Prelude, weaving together the personal journeys before dividing into three separate parties: Fighters, Strategists, and Questers.
Characteristics of the Soldiers Table
Per the Dungeon Master, the combat-focused party is for players who enjoy a classically intense fight-heavy narrative style where diplomatic options are few and far between.
Initially, figures such as the squeamish cleric the cleric might appear unsuited, but the actions of the latest installment demonstrate why these five characters are best suited for the combat party.
Motivations for Departure
For one thing, the party has a clear idea where to head next after a violent opening clash with the enemy group.
A former ally of Thjazi Fang—whose demise kicked off the campaign’s events—manipulated The Crow Keepers for his selfish purposes, breaking into the hidden lair, striking the character, and taking all the enchanted items to sell off.
Casimir then cleared his liabilities and escaped to a secure base in the northern region, above Dol-Makjar, with Teor’s brother hot on his heels.
Character Drivers
Additionally, each adventurer has a specific drive to depart Dol-Makjar:
- The agile hero, as the close ally and best friend, wants vengeance.
- Kattigan knows the northern area and advises that it is a dangerous place.
- The warrior and The cleric, having disobeyed his house’s orders to eliminate Teor and instead freed him, have no other options.
- However, their position as prominent individuals in House Halovar could enable the group access locations they normally couldn’t.
- Additionally, The fighter vowed a eternal obligation to The cleric for his salvation and will now go with him everywhere.
Wanted and Hunted
Finally, all of them are wanted by the powers that rule the setting for a range of causes, making lingering locally no longer safe:
- The agile adventurer and The character are known criminals.
- The warrior and The cleric betrayed the powerful family and the army of fiends they are allied with.
- The target is targeted for elimination by the clan.
This results in them little choice but to journey toward the northern region in pursuit of Casimir.
What’s Next?
Based on episode three’s Cooldown, we find out that the warrior group will be absent next week, leaving the other eight participants to assemble the Questers and Schemers tables.
Fans can expect discovering which players will be assigned to which table in the season’s final introductory chapter, available to watch on the upcoming Thursday.
